For this season, we wanted to evoke visions of a confident woman maintaining a fine balance between a life that's both scandalous and refined. I rang in 2010 in a very positive way but January was over in a few blinks of an eye and a trip to Bread and Butter Berlin. February for me was the most challenging month I've had in a while. When it comes to pastry art and all of those cake decorating shows, you either love or hate them. I'm in the former category, and for a while I even imagined that it could be a career for me someday, but after some interning positions at bakeries I realized that I preferred eating pastries rather than making them.
