I could see myself getting into interior design someday, when I get my own own spot it's going to look so fucking fly that I won't ever leave. Hopefully I can grow a head of really white/silver hair and have a bunch of dogs and grow pot and write weird books, that'll be the life. In the meantime I just look at photos of wonderful architecture, but my favorite are of the insides of homes themselves rather than the outside. You can't judge a book by it's cover. Actually, I'd only see myself living in a place that looked like a crack den from the outside, just to reveal a female Stanley Kubrick's palace within. Creative Space - Urban Homes of Artists and Innovators by Francesca Gavin is a beautiful book containing exactly what it's title says, and we have some friends in it! A nice dose of daily inspiration...
If I was a cannibal I would eat this family. Come on, don't you want to just get in there and give em' a group hug? It's amazing what kind of housing you can find when making shitty clothes and being bankrupt! FUCK EM!
Such a sexy little bedroom set-up. I love the light colors with the naughty shoes bed-side...
That pile of books belongs to a Mr. Gary Card - looks doper than a book-case. I'd get stoned and just sit in front of it until my eyes hurt.
REINE FAFI!
This amazing display of records and alcohol (Lukas Feireiss) was one of my favorites. I'm also a huge Godzilla fan, he kills it.
This is actually kind of crazy, I met this guy when I was 15/16 years old. He was the stylist on the shoot for Uniqlo's NYC-opening campaign which I somehow was chosen to be in. His name is Nicola Formichetti and we immediately became friends. I wasn't used to stylists and makeup artists and he basically stood behind the photographer making me laugh the whole time. Then we would smoke cigarettes outside together. I haven't seen him since the opening-night party! Amazing fucking apartment homie!
Colorfully colored organized messes-for-desks are on my top 10 eye-candy list. I believe it's the studio of furniture designers Snakeskin Jacket - you could have it better, but I wouldn't change a thing!
ooops! sorry to say but all these pictures are soooooo crapy!
They dont get in the spirit of things (if things there are) and do the reverse: make all cool peeps look like morons!!!!!
