CAMILLA D'ERRICO'S LITTLE PRINCESSES.
posted by: Tabatha on: November 13th 2009 08:51 am

I just realized that as much as I share my artistic discoveries with you guys, it's pretty rare that I write about female artists. They're truly just harder to come across, but whenever I do find female work I find worth sharing, it's really inspiring. One of our readers sent me the link to her sisters website, (Camilla d'Errico) where she paints absolutely beautiful anime style girls in a really fantasy-esque style, I'm honestly not sure how to even explain it. I grew out of my Anime phase by the time I got to high school, but I always had an appreciation for this particular style which is really meticulous, I love seeing those tiny strokes of pencil and dots of white paint, it almost makes the image look like it's sparkling. I think I might go to Korea Town and do some shopping on my lunch break!

I want a giraffe on my head too!

She also sells some prints and clothing on her online store and I just saw on her FB Fanpage (camilladerricoart) that she's coming out with some new stuff for Christmas. Her art on clothing would be fab!
